New Hair

Apologies for the lack of posts recently. Life and family have taken over yet again so I've been a little busy. In a vain attempt to make my life a little easier, I have decided to cut off the mess that has become my hair. It is uncontrollable and generally makes me look untidy at work. I have no time in the mornings to sort it out as it takes me about 20 mins to do half my head with the straighteners and I need my beauty sleep!

This thought came to me today when I found out I would be sitting down with a Trainee Buyer at work in the mornings to develop my experience of the buying role. This means I have to be in work for 7.45am 2 days a week, a whole 45mins earlier than I need to be there now. Therefore I will be getting up earlier as it is, and so don't have extra time for fancy hair maintenance! In light of this new development, I've been researching short-ish hair cuts. Can't go too short or the boyfriend may stop loving me, and I know I get impatient when it doesn't grow back quick enough. But at the same time, I want enough off to make a difference. So here's a few looks I like that I've found so far, let me know what you think...

A medium brown straight coloured choppy messy hairstyle by Hooker & Young

For those of you who know me, I am a brunette, so adapt these images for me! I just love how messy these styles are, making them easier to achieve and maintain but they still look gorgeous.

As for these, I love the loose curls and can only wish that my hair would be like this all the time!! A girl can dream can't she...

Love and ringlets,

  1. Oooo, I love these styles. I know what you mean, I've been thinking about going shorter again myself recently but not sure if I've got the guts to di it! I think you'd really suit it, as your hair already has that lovely wavy texture, lucky girl!
